Although this concerto became popular with trumpet players after being recorded by noted piccolo trumpet soloist, Maurice Andre, the intent of this arrangement is to feature the chamber music skills of the entire brass quintet, not just the 2 piccolo trumpet players. This arrangement is respectfully dedicated to the Capital University Faculty Brass Quintet.
