Energetic and uplifting! From start to finish the melodies and rhythms in this original work by Randall Standridge convey a sense of optimism and energy, hopefully leaving the listener and player with a sense that all will be well. Written primarily using the notes of the D scale, with lot of opportunities for dynamic contrast, this piece is packed with great teaching moments.

Program Notes:

I love sunshine.  I really do.  Walking outside and feeling its warmth on my skin never fails to elevate my mood and put me in a better mindset for the day ahead.  I love it so much that I recently moved into a new studio with eight floor-to-ceiling windows to allow in as much sunlight as possible.  I’ve been in it for around four months as of this writing, and I can tell a huge difference in my productivity, enthusiasm, and overall happiness.

In this work, I have tried to capture this feeling.  The melodies and rhythms convey a sense of optimism and energy, hopefully leaving the listener and player with a sense that all will be well, all will be well, and all manner of things will be well.
